ARTIST: Nick Cable
EXHIBITION DATE: September/October 2015
STYLE OF WORK: Photography – landscape, aviation, cars, wildlife & architecture
STUDIO LOCATION: East Lyng, Somerset
Happiest outdoors with his camera capturing a coastal or landscape scene, Nick is also well known for his work in the field of architectural and aviation photography. His work has been shown in various magazines and as well as regular exhibitions and shows, various international photographic agencies host his imagery, including the world famous Getty Images.
His exhibition was made up of a mixture of his ever popular coastal and landscape photos in colour and black white combined with some equally striking wildlife images of kingfishers, wild cats and eagle owls.
A long time friend of Teapot Creative, we approached Nick with the invitation to exhibit in the Sugar Cube having been hugely impressed with the presentation of his photography on his website. We originally came across him thanks to the range of stunning images he provided for the front cover of ‘Thatch magazine’ – the Community Council for Somerset’s quarterly publication and were delighted to have his photos hang in the Sugar Cube.
